About Us


Gray Center is the spiritual center of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. The programming at Gray Center and the ministry of Camp Bratton-Green reflect the vision and energy of the Rt.  Rev. Duncan M. Gray, III and his leadership team. Gray Center offers a destination for groups in search of a location to support community, spirituality and hospitality. Gray Center's doors are always open to groups of all denominations as well as civic and corporate groups.  Events through the Center for Formation and Mission at Gray Center are offered to enhance the formation and training of clergy and lay leaders of all denominations .

 


bill horneThe Executive Director of Gray Center is William E. "Bill" Horne, Jr.  Bill and his wife, Trudy, came to Gray Center in May of 2003.

 

 


 


                         The Site Manager is Charley Belote. Charley and his
                         family made Gray Center their home in 2005.

 

Grae Dickson became Gray Center's Food & Beverage Director in May of 2007.  He has worked with Chef Robert St. John of Hattiesburg and Meridian and Chef Grant Nooe of Ridgeland, bringing with him 16 years of resturant and culinary experience.  He attended the University of Southern Mississippi . Grae, his wife Laura and his son Graeme reside in Jackson.
