Pioneer Camps 2008
Pioneer is BACK!

Pioneer Camps have been a long-standing tradition at CBG.  Campers journey with trained, experienced adult staff members to unique camp locations.  The goal of these camps is to live cooperatively in a small Christian community sustained by concern of its members for one another.  Campers share the responsibility for camp events and meal preparation.  Each camper will also have the chance to develop self-confidence and competence by learning skills such as hiking, rock climbing, spelunking(exploring caves), sailing, rafting, and canoeing - depening on the locations of each camp.  Most camping equipment is provided, with campers and staff alike maintaining the campsite and living quarters, planning activities to be shared by everyone.  Pioneer Camps are for exiting 7th-12th graders.
